Expert Clinical Benchmarks vice president to address “Next Evolution” of physical therapy
KING OF PRUSSIA, PA (May 6, 2013) — Roger Nelson, PT, PhD, FAPTA, vice president of MedRisk’s Expert Clinical Benchmarks (ECB), will deliver the prestigious Mary McMillan Lecture at the 2013 American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Conference and Exposition, Salt Lake City, June 26-29.
Dr. Nelson will share his vision of physical therapy’s “Next Evolution,” exploring the physical therapist’s (PT) evolving role within the redefined American healthcare system. He will propose steps PTs, APTA and educational institutions must take to establish physical therapy as a driving force for enlightened patient care in an increasingly impersonal healthcare system.
